50 years ago today, Herren’s Restaurant was the first restaurant in Atlanta to voluntarily desegregate. This evening, Georgia State University’s Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality presents a commemorative “Evening at Herren’s,” an event benefiting the School of Hospitality’s Culinary Learning Center.
